Bank Loans for British Expats (Information from CREDITWEST Bank
- We are pleased to present CREDIT WEST Bank Loans for our Ex-pat clients from the United Kingdom.
- 50% mortgage for up to 10 years repayment. Valuation to be the figure of the sale value,. No guarantor is needed.
- Maximum loan of 75,000 GBP however exceptions may be made if income can be substantiated. Maximum age of mortgagee is 75 when loan matures.
- Interest rate is 0.67% per month. (please note this is for GBP and can only be confirmed on day of query).
- There will be a 2% administrative fee plus stamp duty.
- The property must be insured through CreditWest insurance and renewed every year. This is calculated into the loan amount.
- Early redemption fee – 2% from the remainder pf the loan.
Requirements to apply include:
- Passport
- Proof of address
- Salary proof
- Tax certificate
- Online Credit report from UK
- A statement from pension company for private pensioners
- 12 month bank statement for state pensioners.
- The property must have individuals title deeds ready to transfer.
- The applicant must have Permission to Purchase in the TRNC.
